Rodeo Season

NWYRA SCHOLARSHIPS

The NWYRA is proud to award thousands of dollars in educational funding each year to

support our graduating seniors by sending them off to college with a scholarship!

Every year NWYRA Graduating Seniors have an opportunity apply. 

  • NWYRA graduating senior who are current members and participant in the NWYRA.

  • Any graduating NWYRA seniors pursuing a post-high school course of study at either a college/university, other post-secondary educational institution, or a trade school are encouraged to apply.

In 2022 NWYRA was honored to give (3) three Scholarships!

It has been a pleasure watching these kids rodeo with NWYRA! 

We will miss them very much and wish them very best!

Layla Knight

Layla will be attending the University of Idaho where she will major in Political Science and Agricultural Communications & Leadership. 

Layla plans to continue onto Law School and use her degrees to work for the Oregon Farm Bureau as an Agricultural Lobbyist.

Alyssa Burke

Alyssa will be attending Umpqua Community College then will transfer to the Oregon Institute of Technology to finish her degree to become a Ultrasound Technician specializing in the field of OB-GYN.

Bryce Williams

Bryce will be attending Treasure Valley Community College to obtain his certificate in Welding Technology.  Bryce plans to start his own fabrication shop focusing on building/creating for the Agricultural Community. 

2023 Scholarship Information

​Scholarships will be awarded at the St. Paul Rodeo.
