NWYRA SCHOLARSHIPS
The NWYRA is proud to award thousands of dollars in educational funding each year to
support our graduating seniors by sending them off to college with a scholarship!
​EVERY YEAR GRADUATING SENIORS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO APPLY

Applicant must be a current and paid Contestant/Member of NWYRA.

Applicant that is pursuing a post-high school course of study at either a college/university, other post-secondary educational institution, or a trade school are encouraged to apply.

Scholarship application will be scored according to the Scholarship Scoring Rubrics.

Applicant must appear before the Scholarship Committee for a 15 minutes interview conducted at the first rodeo of the season.

Payton Johnson
$2,500.00
Payton is a graduate of St. Paul High School. She is attending Central Arizona Community College where she is majoring in business.
Payton plans to pursue a career in the Insurance Industry as a Property Insurance Adjuster.
Madison Blackburn
$2,000.00
Madison is a graduate of St. Helens High School. She is attending Portland Community College with plans to transfer to a university to complete her Bachelors of Science.
Madison will be pursuing a career in Nursing.
Saydee Pickering
$1,500.00
Saydee is a graduate of South Umpqua High School. She is attending Linfield University to major in Nursing.
Saydee plans to become a Nurse Practitioner and maybe even continue onto Medical School.
